Evening ladies and gents. As a follow up to our previous blog which gave you all the premiere dates for new and returning shows (catch it here) this fall I thought we would do a rundown of some new shows that we are most excited about. Some have already started but the majority are still yet to start so check out the other blog for the dates you need.

Ok first up is Seal Team. Starring David Boreanaz (Bones, Angel) it centres on the missions of an elite S.E.A.L team and the missions they undertake and the effects it has on the personal lives and their families. The pilot episode aired last night (27th September) and it looks like an action packed cracker.

Next is The Good Doctor. Starring Freddie Highmore (Bates Motel) it centres around a young surgeon with Autism and Savant Syndrome and his appointment at a prominent hospital where he has to overcome the stigma of his condition from his peers. The pilot premiered this week and seen as I am a fan of medical dramas (except Greys Anatomy) it gets on the list. Critics have called it this seasons This Is Us.

Next Star Trek Discovery. Guilty pleasure or die hard fan, lets be honest who hasn’t been looking forward to a new Star Trek show. Starring Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead) it follows the crew of the USS Discovery 10 years before Kirk, Spock Et al made there mark.

Next up The Crossing. Starring Steve Zahn its about refugees who start turning up from a war torn country in an American town. Only the war they are running from is in America, 250 years in the future 😲. No specific air date yet but it’s expected to launch in October.

Lastly, Marvel’s The Gifted. Due to premiere on October 3rd it centres on a couple who’s lives are rocked by the discovery that their children have Mutant powers who are forced to go on the run from a hostile government. Being part of the X-Men universe it should be an excellent addition to the comic book tv scene.

So there are the shows we are most looking forward too. Some other notable mentions are Young Sheldon, The Brave and Absentia which have already started airing and Mindhunter, Valor, Ghosted and The Resident which are all yet to premiere. All these shows are/will be available on Terrarium, TeaTv, FreeFlix and other good apps.
