Evening everyone, for this blog we are going to have a good look at one of the paid subs or premium IPTV providers which is Limitless. I did a review of this service a while back when they were new on the scene but since then they have expanded to offer the service on multiple platforms, not just Kodi so I will be looking at each one so that you can decide which is best for you if you want to go down the paid sub route.
Before we get started I am sure I will receive numerous messages from people who have nothing better to do than moaning that Kodi should be free, blah blah blah. The fact that Kodi was not designed for how it is now used negates the argumemt that Kodi should be free. For those who are thinking along those lines, do me a favour and have a day off, don’t read this blog and get on with your day.
Rant over, let’s take a look.
Limitless can be used on a mulititude of platforms. They have their own app which is brand new, it can be used with Perfect Player, an addon (http://www.limitlesstv.xyz/addon/) in Kodi as well as Plex and Emby (plex and emby are currently being moved to a new server so we can’t review it properly just yet). Any of them are incredibly easy to set up and the devs behind it will help you out every step of the way.
With over 1000+ channels, many of them HD from all over the world including the UK, US, Canada, Spain, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy plus many more Limitless has much more than you get with either a free IPTV or any other Paid one and is perfect no matter which part of the world you are in. The quality of streams is truly superb and with it being a paid sub you can forget about buffering or channels going down constantly. I could literally sit here and write for days listing the number of channels on offer but i’ll just add a few screenshots to give you an idea.
So they give you a small taste of the live channels on offer. The screenshots are from the Limitless app, Perfect Player has an almost identical look and feel. The Kodi addon also has a similar look with the integrated epg. Having an epg like you would with your normal tv provider is something that you don’t get with free IPTV services amd it really enhances your experience as a user, you do get this sort of look and feel with other paid subs but what they dont have is what I am about to show you now.
Yes thats right you also get an obscene amount of VOD content. 100’s of Tv shows, sports replays, 100’s of movies from new releases to kids and classics. No other paid service offers this amount of on demand content that I know of. I have been an avid user and promoter of paid services for a while now, the quality just blows away anything you can get for free if you find the right service (their are plenty of fly by night scam merchants out there). Limitless is the best I have come across, the guys that run it are 1st class when it comes to customer service and they will even add content to the VOD sections if you fancy watching something that isn’t already their.
Whether you want high quality sports streams for Football, NFL, PPV events, MLB etc or you just want to use it like you would a normal tv provider and watch your favourite shows then it’s a no brainer for us, you need a paid sub and we think it should be this one.
Ok hopefully you are still with me and your interest has been piqued. So lets get to the pricing which is very reasonable considering the amount you get and is still going to save you 100’s per year and allow you to really cut the cord.
- 1 Month £7.50
- 3 Months £20
- 6 Months £40
- 12 Months £60
That means if you get a years subscription it is costing you £5 per month. That’s great value for money any way you look at it.
So to answer the question we posed in the blog title, is a paid sub worth it? With this one you better believe it. It’s easy to use whether you are an experienced cord cutter or if you are just beginning to do it, the support is second to none and the content if I haven’t made it clear already is worth every penny. You really can’t get this quality with a free IPTV provider and for pennies per day it’s certainly not unaffordable. To improve it even further and to stop your ISP from throttling your bandwidth and completely get rid of buffering then use a VPN. My reccommendation would be IP Vanish, they are currently running a promotion for 50% which is a great deal. Simply sign up at IP Vanish and use coupon code IPVSAVE50. Simple!!
A great alternative or backup option (you should always have a backup IPTV provider) is SETV Premium IPTV who offer 500+ channels and plans where you can use it on up to 3 devices at the same time.
If you have any questions please post a comment below and get in touch with Limitless via the band link above. Trust me you won’t regret it.
